Fiber cable

Patch Panel

A patch panel in a local area network (LAN) is a mounted hardware assembly that contains ports used to connect and manage incoming and outgoing LAN cables. Patch panels can be based on the number of ports they contain, with 48-port, 24-port and 12-port panels among the most common. Patch panels are also designed for specific cable specifications like Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A and Cat 7 cables. There are specific patch panels for unshielded twisted pair (UTP) and shielded twisted pair cables.

Fiber LIU

Fiber Patch Panel (LIU) Light interface units are extensively used for wired communication networks. The LIUs are used for routing, terminating and managing optical cable terminations. These light interface units can be wall mounted or rack mounted for ease of use

Key Stone

A keystone jack is a female connector used in data communications, particularly local area networks (LANs). The jack is usually mounted in a wall plate or patch panel. A keystone plug is the matching male connector, usually attached to the end of a cable or cord.There are 5 types of Keystone Jacks:

  • Category 3
  • Category 5e
  • Category 6
  • Category 6A
  • Category 7A.
